Mexico VS Norway- Comparison
Mexico is a developing country, however is not the poorest country in the world. Mexico’s major problems that make this country developing is its high corruption rate and its lack of money distribution. We can see that this is especially true seeing as Mexico City (capital) is actually considered a DEVELOPED city because of its great universities, medical care and institutions just to name a few; however we can then see the other cities and parts of Mexico which are some of the most poorest and dangerous places on earth. Be that as it may Mexico is still considered a developing country. Norway in comparison to Mexico is a paradise. Norway is a developed nation and is still amazingly trying to improve itself. Norway’s, population, political, social and economic indicators out shine Mexico and you could even say any other developing country. Norway in 2014 has a gross domestic product of $511.6 US Trillion and Mexico in 2014 had a GDP of 300 $Billion US. There is a major difference between the countries gross domestic product, which only enumerates to Mexico’s problems. Social, political and economic factors all contribute to Mexico being a developing country. Mexico has an incredibly high murder rate; this year in June 977 people were murdered, now that was just in JUNE. If this were the only problem Mexico might preserver, nevertheless it isn’t. In certain parts of Mexico crime rates are so bad the government have abandoned that city because they have lost control of it. Many of the Mexican crime rings are uncontrollable by the Mexican government so they have just been left alone. Many of the crimes and murders in Mexico have not even been investigated and have just been put away. You might be thinking this is bad, however even the Mexican government is linked in with some of the organised crime in Mexico! The Mexican government is not only poor because of the lack of money distribution, it is also poor because government officials launder money and then on top of that pay and also get payed from Drug lords and crime lords. These are the main factors to Mexico being a developing nation. There are many other factors such as most of Mexico have no access to medical care, education and having a high unemployment rate. There is a story of 10 people being killed and striped of clothing after their death, the Zetas drug cartel performed this atrocious deed because they believed that these people insulted them. A mother tells the story of her watching them kill her son in front of her own eyes. These crime lords performed the horrific crime in public for everyone to see. The mother said that she felt so helpless and couldn’t stop crying for days on end. She said she begged them to spare her son who was only 16 years old but they were ruthless. Police appeared moments after the deaths and were later bribed, so the case would be closed. Norway is a developed country in many ways however a survey was conducted and not many people would have chosen to live there. Norway is a lucky country in many ways seeing as they have easy access medical care, a fair and just legal system, and a great education system one of the best in Europe. Norway has a stable and rich economic system which contributes not only to their own county but to neighbouring and ally countries as well. Norway is a well distributed country with every city and citizen having the same opportunities as the next. Hence Norway being developed and in so many ways known as one of the most liveable countries in the world.
