Government Corruption
There are disparities because there is a clear difference between developed and developing countries. This means that a country like France is more developed than a country like Zimbabwe. The government in France is a democracy, where in Zimbabwe it is a dominated party runs the country. This is because developed countries have more structure and fair laws, where a developing country has more chaos and corruption. There are many reasons that contribute to these disparities in government corruption. The majority of the time the political leader of the country is at fault, due to the fact that the ‘president’ cuts funding to vital areas of society and uses them for his own personal benefit. Zimbabwe’s government system is a perfect example of a corrupt government. The ‘president’ is not the only one to blame, there are economical, social and political factors that affect this, but they all stem back to the ‘president’ who controls all of this. There isn't much that can be done to solve this because government corruption is so controlled and protected by the people involved. Take North Korea for an example, if a country or military force were to try and enter and or make negotiation talks with NK they would either be destroyed or denied purely down to the fact that NK is so powerful and forcefully threatening. They have an extremely powerful military force and access to weapons (nuclear, artillery and firearms) are in abundance which would mean fatalities and even war. Its best not to interfere or try to change existing corrupt governments, but instead we should take part in our democratic society in Australia. If we educate others of the dangers and faults of corrupt governments across the globe we will prevent the possible override of a corrupt government here. By doing this we are enabled to change faults and imperfections in our own democratic government and prove justice in society. If enough countries do this, the example will be set and more people will benefit in the long term. These disparities affect developing countries in a very discreet way. This being because developing countries are most likely blind to the fact that they live in a corruptly governed country. The majority of corruptly governed countries and their populations do not have access to the luxuries that developed countries do, this means that many people are not educated and don't have knowledge of a better government or society. Because of this they are under a forced environment and do not have a voice to say their opinion. This means that the people of these countries are affected because they do not have the right to voice opinion or contribute to government and political change (voting). The people of these countries overtaken by government corruption are the ones who are most affected. Their rights and human dignity is taken and controlled by powerful and deceitful leaders who are selfish in their ways. The people of these countries have no say in their government and do not have the ability to protest or vote. Sometimes this means suffering penalties if any act of voicing opinion or creating a movement is started. This creates a controlled environment in the society and the people are restricted by forced laws and regulations. Its not only the people that are affected, its the country as a whole. Economically, Socially, Politically and Generally.
