War and Genocide
There are major disparities between countries in regards to war and genocide due to the fact that most developing country governments don’t care and can’t manage their countries properly to stop such injustices. Now most of War and war crimes can be blamed on the government, however this is because the government cannot handle and make peace with other countries around them. Genocide is also another major problem, genocide is much less common now than 50 years ago, however it still takes place but mostly in developing countries. War can take place due to many reasons, they can either be civil or on a larger scale. An example of large scale might be a world war, when there is more than 2 parties involved is causing worldwide grief. Genocide is also another type of war, however it is only a party who is interested in slaughtering a large group of people who are of a particular nation or race. There are also major disparities seeing as the governments and leaders of these countries have DECIDED to go to war because of greed, money, power or anything that would benefit them if they ‘won’. War might also be the cause because of certain nations disagreeing to certain plans and friendships. In different situations it would be different people, however for war it would usually lead back to the government or in other cases it would lead to an individual who has decided to over throw the leader and take all power for himself. On the other hand Genocide might just be a certain group of people targeting another certain group, or in other cases such as the holocaust it might be the government who is targeting another race. Even if a civil war were to take place, many people would automatically assume it is the people’s fault, however the government would have drove the people to decide that it was time for that tyranny to leave their nation. There are already things in place to solve issues like this such as the United Nations and other world peace committees. Countries negotiate with each other all the time to prevent anything like this from anything happening. Anytime there is a disagreement it is always brought to the UN, to get other parties involved and for all the major nations to help negotiate a possible solution and to prevent war. In other cases countries may have private dealings and decide to do trade and solve their problems that way. In other instances when there is something like genocide happening and they have decided to be world isolated and not come to any solution there major world players would come together and see what they as a TEAM can do to solve the atrocity. These situations affect developing countries even more seeing as they would already be in trouble whether it be, politically, economically or socially. For war or genocide to occur in a developing country (which is where it usually does) would only bring it down further. In other words it would be like a man hanging on a cliff and you just kicking his hands of the edge. Developing countries are most affected by these disparities. This is because there countries are the ones mostly in the worst conditions and not being handled properly, they are usually the most corrupt and lousy nations. Most of the developing countries are not even in the UN and it is left up to the major nations to fix them. War and genocide are urgent matters that must be attended to immediately and in the upmost confidence. For these matters are more than just someone not receiving their education these matters are something that could shift the entire course of our world if not attended to immediately, World War 2 was proof of that. Genocide if executed and completed properly could wipe out a whole race. Over 6 million Jews died in World War 2, we should be thankful it stopped there. If it were up to Hitler he would have had all of them wiped out. War can change the whole balance of power and who has dominance over the world. For example if the united States were to miraculously take over Britain, Russia and China, they basically control the world and everything in it. Whatever they wanted they would get, whether it be wealth, resources or just another country. Genocide is taking place however not on a larger scale and definitely nothing compared to the holocaust. Genocide is taking place in certain developing countries and nothing is still being done about it. Civil wars do take place however not as much anymore.
